    Here is a pic of the screen. Verbose mode froze within 5 seconds. I haven't updated the BIOS, and I noticed the UEFI update on the Gigabyte website is classifed as a Beta. Do you think an outdated BIOS is the root of the problem?

    Has anyone else found that their computer freezes on restart? Everything worked great for me but then when I restart and select Yosemite the computer freezes at the Apple loader. (Grey apple screen with loading bar). Any tips? Thanks!

    Success! OS X 10.10.5 - GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 rev1.3 - Radeon HD 6850

    I have the same MOBO, i5-2500K, same graphics card, and I installed your settings via MultiBeast. Everything worked great until I restarted the computer. After I selected "Yosemite" the computer immediately froze on the Apple Loading screen. Have you ever encountered this/any tips? Thanks!

    Can the Mac Pro 1,1 be relevant today?

    Thanks! I'm leaning towards building a budget Hackintosh simply because the components will be new. I'd hate to spend $350 on a Mac Pro tower to realize that half the components are bad. Appreciate the insight guys.
