    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

I just had this issue last night with OpenCore 0.6.9 after upgrading from 11.0.1 to 11.3.1. I was able to fix the issue by disabling XhciportLimit under Kernel in the config.plist.

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

Hi All! I just wanted to provide an update on my hackintosh build. I was the lucky guy that had my motherboard catch on fire... Well, I still had 10 days left to return it to NewEgg for an exchange and that is exactly what I did. NewEgg spent some time checking out the board and then sent me a...

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

I still have not started to take it apart just yet. I am probably going to start working on it this weekend. I did not have the machine on a UPS and It was just plugged into a nice surge protector under my desk. It does seem like a pretty freak occurrence as I have never had any computer catch...

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

I am very lucky that I was home! Usually I leave the machine on and sleeping while at work and this is exactly the state it was in when it caught on fire.

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

I am still not really sure what caused the fire.... I am going to have to take some photos and begin removing parts. To me it looks like it may have been a defect in the board because of where the fire was. But I guess it could have been an issue with my power supply maybe?

Hi All! I just wanted to say that I built pretty much this exact computer but with a 1TB Samsung 960 Evo M2 SSD, 64GB of GSkill RAM (2 x F4-2666C15D-32GVR) and the case with the tempered glass and I installed a fresh copy of 10.14.1 on it. This machine has been working great so far! I had to do...

[Solved] Mojave - BioStar Hi-Fi Z87x3d - Freezing and Hard Drive light on constant

Well I never did get any responses but I think that I may have solved the issue. In 10.13 and 10.14 I noticed that I had the issue with the freezing (with hard drive light on solid) and my 1TB HD was showing as not initialized. In 10.11 and 10.12 these issues did not happen so I searched for...

Hi I have recently did a fresh install of Mojave on my BioStar Hi-Fi Z87x3d motherboard (i7-4770k) and I am having issues with the computer freezing solid where the mouse will not move at all and the hard drive light is on constant. The only way I can get out of the freeze is to power the...
