dta, thank you a million times over. Now HD4000 works on my GA-Z77X-UD5H; I had read somewhere to set the graphics memory size to 512MB, but leaving it at 64MB it actually works. :)

Finally got the HD4000 graphics working, so this is no longer an issue.

I upgraded and now when I boot I just get a black screen after the apple logo... if I push the power button, the fans shut off; if I push it again, the system wakes up and video works. Any suggestions? I have an old Radeon 4600, which may be the issue?
