I am in the same boat. What are some laptops with most successful hackintosh builds ? Preferably a quad core cpu.

I plan to buy a laptop to specifically turn it into a hackintosh. I intend to use it for music production and i prefer 8/16GB RAM and quad core CPU. Are there any go to tried and tested laptops which one can buy for maximum compatibility ?

I've tried booting with PCIRootUID=0 flag and it failed to start into OSX(hung up on the BluetoothIOController). What i have not tried is skipping the PCIRootUID flag entirely.
