Coffeelake Laptop Thunderbolt 3 eGPU not working

Hi all, I have a razer blade 15 2019 with a i7-9750H, and I successfully tackled everything for OpenCore 0.6.0. The machine is perfectly driven except TB3 eGPU. Lilu.kext and WhateverGreen.kext as well as all other kexts are updated to the newest build. You can find my configurations here...

Razer Blade 15 2019 iGPU UHD 630 Issue

Hi All, I am doing a Hackintosh for Razer Blade 15 2019 (9750H) version, and so far, I am stuck on UHD 630. When I installed the system, I used FakeID on IntelGFX = 0x12345678 in order to boot and install, but when I tried to change FakeID= empty or have injectIntel=False, the system runs into a...

Yes, delete DSDT.aml (maybe give it a try and get rid of the SSDTs if removing DSDT doesn’t work idk). There is a separate DSDT patching guide somewhere on this site. You can easily find it if you dig for five minutes.

Try getting rid of DSDT first and see if that works

I am not an expert at all. Try removing DSDT and everything not necessary and try boot with that. If that gets you in that means you need to patch your own DSDT. I can’t help with DSDT patching (I used zysuper’s DSDT and it works on my machine so yeah) but there should be plenty of tutorials on...

Literally download the newest version and upgrade to Catalina (Also make a USB recovery drive in case anything goes wrong and you cannot boot) from Github.

I’ve been hearing good feedback from people on V3.3/V3.4, and I shall call this 99% perfect at this point. Time to go back to other things in my life! It’s been a fun year.

I wrote it in the readme.MD so it is available to everyone. Please read "USB Dongle with Display (HDMI/DP) Output (NOT eGPU)" section of the readme.MD.

If you are running into ACPI errors, use clover to get your own DSDT, patch your own DSDT, my ACPI is literally for luck...(tbh I don't even know why zysuper's DSDT worked on my machine)

It's not "My" work, it is "our" work. If you go take a look at that Github repository you will realize how powerful it is when it comes to a community. I strongly recommend you open up a new thread, let me know, and I will post your repo's link in my repo's readme.MD.

BTW I don't see X1E Gen2 being too much of a hassle except all the things applied to Gen 1 (e.g. Bluetooth) still applies.

Simple answer, try it. Try it! Obviously, there are things you need to change, patch your DSDT, change your iGPU stuff and SMBIOS stuff, but should be much easier. I don't have a gen 2 so I can't say anything for sure :P (At least I already fully solved Gen1 for you guys)

Hi, I finally solved eGPU. It is easy as hell. Al I did was disable the internal iGPU, then boot with the same EFI (10.15.0.3.3 in my case) then everything just works. Just so you know.

Who doesn't like music? But the issue is even with Displaylink the UI on external display is laggy. Hopefully eGPU makes everything smoother. I am still angry that Apple dropped NVIDIA support which sucks for machine learning researchers like me that we cannot use a NVIDIA cars...
