Thanks Rehabman! Got through that, BUT now the initial installer seems to be restarting at around 70% (Suddenly, no warning or errors). And when I try to boot from the destination drive and continue the installer it throws the following error log attached herewith. Any idea why?
EDIT: I have...
Hi Rehabman, sorry about that. Should've known better.
I've attached the files herewith. Please let me know if you can figure out the issue. Thanks in advance.
Need a little help here guys. My Mojave installation keeps crashing right round this line "IOG Flags 0x3 (0x51) " in verbose and I can't seem to figure out why. I've tried to capture a screenshot, please find attached. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I've been following Rehabman's guide on...
Ohh I see, guess I'll survive without the mic then.
This machine is my daily driver at the university, I cant afford to break anything and dont have time to do a clean install anyway.
Thanks for your help though :)
I think I have the vanilla AppleHDA, since it got restored when updating to 10.12.1. I've tried with that version and your one as well but both still give the same error :(
Same here, but every update so far seems to have broken something for me, and I can't afford to risk it since this machine is my daily driver at the university. So I'm kind of torn.
And haha, I shall look into it :p Thanks again for your help :)
It worked! :D Thanks a lot for the help. Appreciate it :)
Also do you know how to disable updates permanently? I'd like to avoid these happening in the future :P
Thanks for the reply. And haha, I swear it wasn't me. After the last update broke my mic, I promised to myself that I wouldn't install anymore updates since I need this laptop for uni and can't afford to take the risk. But then this happened.
Also I've tried going through the link you provided...
So my friend has accidentally installed the 10.12.1 update on my Hackintosh and my wifi stopped working after the update.
I have the Broadcom BCM94352Z Wifi Card which worked perfectly before, and I've tried reinstalling the FakePCIID kexts and adding the Broadcom Wifi patch for Sierra again...
Ohh ok, I will give that a try when I have some free time. Thanks a lot!
Also, can you please share with the the AppleHDA.kext for Sierra if you have it? Thanks :)
Also, can you please upload the AppleHDA.kext that came with Sierra if you have it? I have accidentally deleted it to use VoodooHDA and I can't try the AppleHDA patch without it now :(
