    macOS 11.2.1 Update

Updated from Catalina to Big Sur 11.2.1 after updating to OC 0.6.6. Worked like a charm! Flawless upgrade

    [Release] Hackintool v3.x.x

Thanks! I read that, but in fact none of this did happen when I installed the kexts. So I wonder: is mounting as read/write and disabling gatekeeper not needed anymore as of macOS 10.15.3? (I tested also using finder and I can just add/delete files in L/E without having to mount the system drive...

Anyone who can confirm this behavior?

    [Release] Hackintool v3.x.x

I did a fresh install of Catalina and installed kexts using Hackintool to L/E. I was expecting problems and/or a prompt to mount the root partition as read/write, but none of this happened and it just installed the kexts. Is mounting the root as read/write no longer needed? And what about...

    Pupose of Aptio memory fix

Thanks! I think I'm gonna switch from OsxAptioFix2 to AptioMemoryFix since it appears to be the recommended one. Let's see if I can get native NVRAM to work as a side bonus as well.

    Pupose of Aptio memory fix

There are some different versions of Aptio memory fix efi drivers available in Clover: OsxAptioFix 1, 2 and 3 and AptioMemoryFix. I understand that you need to use the one that works through trial and error, from right to left and the differences are explained in this post...

    Nvidia drivers after update

Such a life saver! Thanks, graphics is now super smooth! I do find it odd though, what could have been the underlying issue? Is the NVidia installer not installing correctly or does your script include some specific fix (just curious)? Thanks so much again!

    Nvidia drivers after update

Hi all, I just updated to 10.13.4 and the update went smooth. I used to use the .104 drivers with the script from vulgo because the other drivers were laggy for me. Now I read that the new drivers are (probably) not laggy anymore, so I decided to update through the Nvidia updater to the latest...

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 (387.10.10.10.25)

Actually I believe that if you just use "sudo webdriver.sh -m" without the build number it just finds out the build number itself

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 (387.10.10.10.25)

I updated yesterday to High Sierra, and got into trouble when I updated the drivers. Looks like nv_disable=1 doesn't work anymore, so I couldn't boot to apply the AGDPfix. So I uninstalled the web drivers, then I was able to boot into my system and reinstall the .104 drivers and immediately...

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 (387.10.10.10.25)

I updated from Sierra to High Sierra today. Update went smooth but I got into trouble when I updated the Nvidia web drivers. I first tried version .156, but it gave me the circling icon on boot and wouldn't boot beyond that. Then I tried reinstalling .156 using SIP 0x00, but same problem. Then...

    macOS 10.12.4 Update

Did the update: 1) Updated Clover using Clover Configurator 2) Updated to 10.12.4 using AppStore 3) Updated Nvidia Web Drivers from system preferences 4) Ran AGDPfix 5) Rebooted 6) Ran sudo trimforce enable Got everything working in less then 30 minutes. A big thank you to the community for...

    Auto-Boot stopped working

Funny thing: when I plug in my backup drive an extra boot option occurs (the backup drive) and then suddenly the Auto-Boot functionality does auto boot the right drive. What could be the underlying issue here?

    Auto-Boot stopped working

I seem to have encountered a weird problem regarding the auto-boot feature. Auto-boot always used to work for me (with the 3 second delay so I can switch to windows if I want), up until yesterday when I turned off CSM in the BIOS in order to get clover to work at native resolution (2560x1440)...

Switching to gtx 970 from HD530

I did this, it worked after solving the black screen issue. Thanks for your help

Black Screen with MacPro 6,1 or iMac 15 or iMac 17 System Definition

I'm trying to get my gtx 970 working. I have NvidiaWeb set to true (see attached config.plist). I also had the problem of a black screen when the loading bar with apple logo was about half way. I applied the AGPDfix v1.3, but it didn't solve the problem. I verified that all entries in...

Switching to gtx 970 from HD530

I actually intended to wait for pascal support, but I just decided to buy a gtx 970 instead, just for the time being. My MSI GTX 970 is currently on it's way. I'm wondering: is it possible to switch from HD530 to GTX 970 without doing a complete reinstallation of my Hackintosh? I have seen the...

    [SOLVED] Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080/1070

Thanks for your reply. The thing is that gtx 980 (TI) are pretty hard to get your hands on (for a reasonable price) where I live these days. Also, I'm afraid the 980 will be outdated earlier than the 1060.
