Wow - you just fixed my problem. I don't recall ever making those changes, but I did install a Broadcom M.2 chip to get my wifi and bluetooth working and added some kexts for them to work so maybe that caused the change? Appreciate the quick response and Thank you!

Thought I did everything to get HDMI working but no luck! Any help is appreciated! I have a GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 motherboard. update: fixed by disabling HDAS to HDEF in ACPI config.plist sound working, now on to bluetooth and wifi!
