I think it might be good to know that i install via a USB Dvd drive since my laptop has no built in DVD. After iboot adn hitting F5 i get Apple_HFS and not Mac os x install dvd . ?

thanks ahkbar but its not working, i followed the insructions steve has written, i do boot with iboot legacy but after i change dvd, hit f5 and then type the command (-x -v....etc) the system halts, freezes with that error msg.

not much instructions , tips ther that could help...
