Apple probably does not even care about Nvidia...they are supporting AMD! Apple users, who end up buying Nvidia, will only blame Nvidia for bad support and not Apple. And OFC if they go ask to a store, Apple will never take the blame and will recommend AMD for external GPU.

i used 106 drivers version.. you can download from last update. uninstall current drivers, reboot use the app to fake the 106 installer.. reboot and done

actually i was able to fix it with the nvidia web clover and nv_drivers=1

same card here but osx 10.13.1.

so i updated the drivers it boots fine but when i go to the nvidia panel it keeps using the default osx drivers.. if i change the setting and reboot it keeps using the default.. anyone??

so my problem is fixed, i was able to boot with the new nvidia drivers.. problem is.. half of the time it reboots while loading.. for no reason.. (same boot loop with "IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3 ") anyone knows why??

try with nv_drv=1 I had the same problem after installing the new drivers and it got fixed with that (thought we didn't had to use that flag anymore)

same here, i was able to get back to desktop by uninstalling the driver but once i reboot after installing the new version loop comes back.. i was still able to go back to desktop without the drivers (had to go to recovery and erase blah blah blah).

That post helped me to recover my desktop but when i install the new drivers and change the SIP to 0x67 it crashes again. UPDATE: enabled Nvidia flag (thought there was no need with new drivers) and it worked..!!!! THANKS A LOT

i have the same problem, installed 10.13 with success then installed nvidia drivers (had to boot with "safe kext signature") so nvidia installer could run correctly. today i installed the 10.13 minor udpate and now im stuck. i have lilo and nvidia fix kext. any ideas anyone??
