Leave those kexts (lilu, weg and applealc) in your /other folder, they can be ‘stored’ there and accessed when needed.

I think the two options, other than clover/kexts/other, are system/library/extensions and library/extensions. It’s pretty important that you get the AppleALC in the correct folder. On my system, it’s in the L/E folder and is working well and stable. Make sure you don’t have it in S/L/E as well.

Where is your applealc kext?

I had the same issue after updating to 14.4; I found even though I had the latest version of applealc kext in the clover/kext/other folder, there was an older version in my /library/extensions. I kextbeasted the latest version to /L/E and it seems to be working now.

Seems like someone said fakesmckext and virtualsmckext don't play nice together...I noticed them in your kexts/other folder.
