You are a lifesaver !! That worked like a charm !! Ive been test booting about 10 times nw and it works flawless in combination with the bios setting you gave !
I noticed that you selected i5 instead of i7.. i never would have thought about that myself. The OS still recognises the CPU as an i7...

Sadly i have bad news.. the solution i had worked only short term :( It booted 2 times and now nothing :banghead:
With the bios settings i have it installs OSX and USBboots into OS without any problem. But when i try to boot from HDD alone it gets stuck halfway loading and then the pc...

Now on startup without USB i get the clover bootmanager but when booting OS it hangs on the apple logo with progress bar. The progress bar itself does nothing and stays grey.
Is there anything i can do about that ?

I have almost exactly the same setup as you except for the video card.. i have an Nvidia gtx580 OC 3G.
What worked for me, i just found out, is to do a full reinstall with UEFI.

So i found the solution to my problem...
In bios setting under CPU setting DISABLE :: Hyperthreading, E.I.S.T and C1E
After the installation is complete and the pc restarts, go into bios and turn on C1E again.
Restart and boot into clover again..
Then go ahead and boot OSX from the HDD :)...
