I've never read the pmset commands... Are those two pids listed what is preventing me from proper sleep? I've been changing things all week trying to get it to work... I'll try putting that command through terminal and see what happens. Thanks

If you have another OS on a different HD. You can boot into that to Edit the files on your broken one. If you have windows, download a OSX HD reading program... it's what I did. Just went for a trial of some program.

So I'm having sleep issues. If I tell the computer to sleep (Apple button, sleep) The HD shuts down and everything... just seems like the fan and lights stay on. Then it is unresponsive unless I reset the computer.

Nope, I expect windows might perform a little low but I think. A 4000 score is terrible for what I have. Everything the same as your build except I have a 1tb 7200rpm as my main drive. It takes like a minute and half for OSS to run geek bench while it's a few seconds for windows. I'm so confused...
Well, I don't expect them to be the same because they are different, i assumed it may favor osx actually. But I'm using a i5 2500, i should not be getting a score so. Low. Should be the same as frost's build actually
