    How to Fix iMessage

Well now I'm stumped. I've followed the directions as stated- I even generated a new s/n as suggested (one that wasn't in use). Called in again- got the same answer- there's no Block or Lock on my account. Works fine on my iPad, just not on my hack. Is my only option to reinstall and do all...

    How to Fix iMessage

I've done all the steps here and rebooted, verifying the info each reboot. All seems fine with Yosemite and Clover 2959- but still no dice. Called applecare and they put me through to iPad department since I'm having the same issue there- but they (Supervisor and Level 1 Tech support) said...

    Intel network driver needed.

Intel network driver needed. SOLUTION. I've tried a few now and sure the network works but I seem to be limited around 600kb/s max. I have manually set the network options for 1000 base, I've removed and reinstalled kexts (including injecting the newer appleintele1000e into...

P9X79 Deluxe - Steps to install ML

Any progress on the sound front? I'm working on the identical board with the identical BIOS. Everything but onboard wifi/bluetooth and audio is working. Sadly, also having little luck with Rampage's settings (*it's not my rig to mess with, so I've little I can do to test). GTX680 Video has...

Mail, Reminders, Notes and Facetime crashes at startup

Fackin Weird! I decided to try this fix as well since I couldn't load Mail.app and such. Oddly enough, it failed from the installer, so I tried from the USB stick- failed. For giggles, I tried loading mail, imessage, facetime again, and they all loaded? :wtf: I guess you'll get the...

P8Z68-V Unable to boot after Multibeast

Wow. Got it. Tried again following a couple different posts here and there and I got it. Reinstalled MultiBeast (from the working LION side- choose an option then click install, you'll get the further option to change the drive you want it on, change the drive and it goes back to the pick...

P8Z68-V Unable to boot after Multibeast

No dice. Hangs on NullCPUManagement::Start now- I'll google and see what I can come up with. I think I may try flashing my bios to the modified one just to remove the nullCPUmanagement issue. Edit: Flashed the Bios, no discernible difference *removed NullCpuManagement Trying again with...

P8Z68-V Unable to boot after Multibeast

The only issue with this is I have to go through the entire install again as my ML install is completely borked. I'll give it a shot though (installing only FakeSMC and NullCPUManagement with the modified DSDT). I believe in one of my attempts I tried the newest Chimera, but will report back...

    MultiBeast 4.0.2: Lion Edition

Edit: Got facetime to work after applying a s/n to SMBios.plist. It may have also been any combination of the following that allowed it to finally work: Updated Boot file with Chameleon Wizard (In "root" - Snow Leopard(Boot) drive, as well as "Lion" drive). Updated Chimera to newest Used newest...

ATI XFX HD 6770 Compatibility Help!

Yep, AT YOUR OWN RISK, click the link in my signature and follow the directions... it looks overly complicated but it's not. Save Your ORIGINAL so you can go back if a kext ever comes out for the 6770. The steps are simple; save a copy, change ONE THING- a drop down menu, flash it to the card...

ATI XFX HD 6770 Compatibility Help!

I got mine to work mostly flawlessly by "rebranding" it as a 5770 using windows tools. As far as I know this is the only way currently to fully enable the card.

    10.7 the easy way!!!!!!

You're obviously welcome to take the leap, but I personally left my root SL alone until I was sure Lion was running smooth. Then I got rid of it. Luckily, OSX isn't like windows- you can mess with your partitions seemingly as much as you want after an OS is installed *just don't use the...

Enabling Bluetooth for P8P67 * boards and BT-211

Re: [Solved] Enabling Bluetooth on P8P67 * boards Not every reboot mind you, but seemingly randomly, my bluetooth is disabled. I have to run the process again. Does anyone have a longer lasting fix?

Logitech MX 5500 Bluetooth Desktop Keyboard Remapping?

Well, it appears as though some of the functions do work natively afterall- mute, volume up and down, play/skip/previous. It's just the "special" keys that have no mapping- and I tried to map them with Keyboard Maestro, Ukulele, Double Command. None work- it seems as though the keyboard isn't...

Logitech MX 5500 Bluetooth Desktop Keyboard Remapping?

Does anyone know if there's a way to do this? I've already done the trial and error and woefully established that the LCC doesn't work with the cordless desktop (windows only)- not that the functions don't work- basic functionality does; you have mouse scroll and keyboard, but I needed to...

    10.7 the easy way!!!!!!

Did you also copy the kexts from your SL/Extra/Extensions folder to your Installer/Extra/Extensions then run Kext Wizard on the right drive (pulldown menu at the bottom right)? I found I needed all the same patches as SL. Keep in mind also, if you do install, you can't yet boot into Lion...
