Hi,
since it didn't fit my needs, I sold it.
What I can say: There is no way to get the Intel Wifi working. You need a USB dongle for that.
You should be able to fix the graphics issue by using the correct platform id.
The Main Problem was, that I didn't get the Trackpad to work. I used Voodoo...
Yes, DVMT Preallocwas set to 128 MB using UEFI-Shell. I also created a real serial for the config plist and copied it over wit a Text editor (not using clover configurator)
Did that a couple of times. Copy paste came back this way, but no chance with graphics glitches in said browsers and some other applications. On Sierra it worked perfectly.
The information that neither darkvoid'S patch nor CoreDisplayFixup.kext + Lilu.kext are working properly under High Sierra was intended as a distribution. Your answer was your well known copy paste answer, that intends to tell people they are idiots. So you didn't really encourage my interest in...
No problem to report. This guide is not working for High Sierra on UHD/4k Display. So I switched back to Sierra and I'm fine with that. But you should mention that in the guide to not lure others in that trapp I tumbled in here.
This guide is not working for High Sierra on UHD!
I can confirm, that coreDisplayFixup works on Sierra with the 4k Screen (even so I'm not perfectly convinced, that graphics acceleration is active). In High Sierra it produces graphical glitches an occasional screen jitters.
I tried to change some of the framebuffer patches - merely random...
Look at Post #1
Download the git project. there is a config_UHD.plist in there. Move that to your clover folder and rename it to config.plist. Delete the old one.
Unlikely. We talked about this before and now I set it correctly with the correct UEFI Shell. Before that, the screen didn't show up at all.
It is set tu setup_var 0x18C 0x4.
Okay, thanks for the advice. I wasn't aware of that.
So I got it working - a little bit:
Moved CoreDisplayFixup and Lilu (Debug Versions) to Clover kext folder an set InjectKexts=Yes.
Internal Display is recogniced after that and displays full UHD.
But screen shows occasional jitters und some...
I didn’t install Keats with finder, I put them in the clover kext folder to get injected during boot as described on the github site of coreDisplayFixup. And I downloaded the matching Lilu kext from the Repositiory. I think, I got that according to the Description.
That I also need a matching...
I already tried CoreDisplayFixup.kext. After it didn't work out, I applied the patch.
But I don't know if I did it right.
I put it into the kext folder of Clover and additionaly the Lilu.kext (Debug version) and ereased Lilu.kext from /Library/Extensions.
Didn't work.
Then i removed it...
Thanks for the reply. After your previous post I saw the last option, that the shell isn't doing right and I searched for an other one. I think I found the right one and set the DVMT correctly.
After some fiddeling and reinstallation I git the Screen finally running.
But every Time I apply the...
I didn't say, that it was in the guide. I said I tried it.
After I tried to do what is written in the guide ...

ok, I take that for granted, if you say that. I'm just curious, what that IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext is for and all these Patches in...
Well, that’s at least a helpful answer. Thanks! That might mean, that DVMT setting is not working as expected.
What I have done so far:
—downgraded Bios to 1.14
— set 0x18C 0x4 in Clover EFI shell as described
— tried DVMT fixup kext
Problems: The Guide says „setup_var 0x18C 0x4“ but there...
Both doesn't work. See Post #66
