Thanks for the input!
OK, so I have to get a CH341A programmer. I was researching in other forums to see if someone with the same motherboard had done it previously, but I guess I would be the first!
I'm using the latest BIOS F28. Never seen any message or alert about Thunderbolt being upgraded.
Let me know about any testing needed, I'll follow the thread closely.
I'm sure you guys can figure it out.
Not working for me. Downloaded fine but when booting from the installer partition, It restarts almost at 20% of the progress bar all the time without complete. Tried several times.
Also tried re-download the update, same issue
UPDATE: Forgot to set SecureBoot to disabled. All good now.
Solved
Solved. I don't know if it was when copying the kext and booting with SecureBoot disabled, but the kext size was 3.5MB instead of 15MB. A similar issue happens with CPUFriendDataProvider.kext after updating macOS, the kext is reduced in size and doesn't work. Thanks!
macOS Sonoma 14.4 update killed my Intel wifi. It doesnt gets recognized even with the latest AirportItlwm-Sonoma14.4-v2.3.0-DEBUG-alpha-ef2e076. Unable to switch Airport to ON and says no driver installed in System Info -> PCI devices.
Hi
I updated to OC 0.9.5 along with macOS 13.5.2 and the CPU acceleration vectors seem to have been changed AGAIN. I was getting 5.4GHz on my 13700K with identical bench and performance results between Windows and macOS with a CPUFriendDataProvider.kext downloaded from github.
Now after update...
It does exactly the same.
First sleep does it correctly and wakes up.
On the second attempt, it enters doing the characteristic "click" sound but the power led remains on, and after a few seconds it restarts. I will continue searching and testing...I'm worried because at this point it's becoming...
No need to mention apologies, I was able to fix many issues thanks to your guides. With all my other builds, I always managed to figure things out just by reading here. But with this one it was very difficult for me, I don't know if it's because of the type of USB implementation that this...
Oh ok, thanks for the clarification on the speed of the XHC3 USB-C.
Currently XHC3 is not included in the mapping. Regarding the speed inconsistency in XHCI@14000000, I thought it could be because HSxx is disabled and left only SSxx on two of the ports in order to reach 15.
Here’s included the...
This is driving me crazy!!!! :banghead:
I did all the USB mapping methods to try to solve the sleep issue (USBPorts, USBMap and USBInjectAll + SSDT-UIAC), using any of them all the ports work correctly. With corpnewt's USBMap tried both AppleUSBHostMergeProperties and the legacy MergeNub, and...
It does the first sleep well, and now it can enter the second! (before this modification it didn't, it hung trying to enter the second sleep and unable to complete it turning off leds and fan), but when it wakes up it restarts.
Should ADBG show up renamed as XDBG in MaciASL with the ACPI...
Searching for gswapp does not return any results, I don't know if I'm doing it wrong
But it shows a table when searching for ADBG, I don't know if it has something to do with it
Thanks for your time
Hi @CaseySJ
I'm still struggling with the hang on the second sleep.
Apparently the ACPI patch Change ADBG to XDBG is not working on the Z690 Aero D motherboard.
When looking for the rename in MaciASL at System DSDT wich is automatically loaded when opening... having the patch activated, it...
Hello, thanks for your quick response.
With the new port limit patch fix in OC 0.9.3 I did the mapping with hackintool, and it's working much better than with USBToolBox. I didn't tried disabling the Aquantia NIC, it's fully recognized via SSDT-AQUANTIA-AQC113C and forceaquiantiaethernet quirk...
Hi, we have the same motherboard. Were you able to resolve the sleep issue? In my case, it cannot fully enter the second sleep: keyboard, mouse and monitor turns off, but the motherboard lights and fans are still on
Initially I did the mapping with USBToolBox from Windows and with USBTreeView.exe, since it does not specify the devices connected to the USB hubs, but the ports with disabled personalities (USB2 or USB3) to keep the limit of 15, did not work well, sometimes devices were dismounted. With the new...
