I've got three iterative questions about this piece of software that I'd be interested in trying.
1: What is the minimum required OS to run Hackintool?
2: Does there exist a version that runs on Mavericks 10.9.5?
3: If yes, where can I find it? The official github has downloadable version only...
Hi!
I remember struggling with this too, I'd set the countdown in Clover Configurator but it wouldn't count on the Clover boot screen. I remember changing some setting to make it work but I can't remember what it was explicitly. Point is something seems to break the timer if you miss some...
Some updates:
I managed to get the internal GPU HD4600 working. Initially I had issues with the HD4600 enabled from BIOS; boot would hang at "missing bluetooth" message when booting verbose. By downloading the Azul-10.9.5-9series-fixed from here, installing it with Kext Wizard and adding...
I had an identical issue with my rig. My understanding is that on top of the itunes DRM you also cannot boot into the OS.
Try disabling your internal GPU via BIOS. That way you can boot into the OS (no need for -x)
To enable your iGPU with no issues go into this thread...
Yup, but that's my problem now (Freeze Fix eats 1% all the time). Thanks for looking into this! (it seems enabling the HD4600 got all the P-states working)
I see where you're getting at. Should've realized myself AICPUPM only reports P-states as they're generated along. I've been running GTX Fermi Freeze Fix which constantly consumes 1% of my system.
I got the iGPU working and booted with it as the main GPU, killed all the extra processes I could...
If the script isn't downloading the additional files (which is elementary in preventing the "CPU not recognized" error) the ssdtPRGen github site has instructions in how to download them manually; bunch of terminal commands.
OS? 10.9.5. Bootloader? Clover 4.25 r3330. Hope I understood the question.
That's strange. The SSDT I used was indeed SSDT/CpuPm. After you mentioned this, I also added the SSDT/CpuSsdt (as SSDT-1). Both patch successfully, yet the result is the same (AICPUP w/out iGPU). SSDT-2 is the LPC.
I...
Hi toleda and thank you for helping me with this.
You were right; SSDT was damaged. The newest beta (which I was using all the time, sorry giving you misinformation) outputs ssdt.dsl which I had foolishly simply renamed to SSDT.aml. Now that I redid the script and converted it with iasl...
Hi. I'm having trouble getting my full Native PM working under Mavericks. The build is in my sig and here's a Link to full build documentation (with all the initial issues FWIW). Mobo Rev. is 2.1 and BIOS version is F9. BIOS settings are "Optimized Defaults" + "Disable VT-d" and "Disable IGPU"...
In Clover configurator under submenu Boot:
On the upper right corner set your timeout in seconds (I put 5 sec), uncheck "-1" (-1 bypasses Clover and boots straight into OS, not desirable if you're booting to other OSes via Clover) and "Fast".
On the "Default Boot Volume" you need to write the...
The HD4600 will totally enough. When it comes playing video with PT bottom line is: If it can play quicktime video, it can be used with Pro Tools. Theoretically you might have some issues if you're maxing out your CPU or RAM (which you probably aren't on that 32bit app). In such cases a discrete...
Hi everybody!
Recently got my first hackintosh up and running. Before this I had owned 2 iMacs, 1 MacBook and a MacBook Pro. Since I’m a cheapass at heart and handy with tinkering, I decided my next machine would be self-built. This machine will used for music production; the GPU is actually...
