UPDATE: Curiously this only happens when booting directly from the HDD. When using the Clover boot loader installed on the USB it immediately turns on.

After rebooting into the USB bootloader and pressing "Boot OS X from Install OS X Yosemite" nothing happens but the cursor disappears. I'm then able to select another drive but every time I select the Install OS X Yosemite drive nothing happens at all.

I'm also having this problem with an Realtek RTL8111E, would love to be able to VM Windows rather than dual boot. It's almost definitely something to do with the Ethernet drivers though.
Might just go buy a Mac Pro otherwise, less hassle. I'll go look through the DSDT database and see what I can find. Other than the motherboard, would it work?
