States clearly in your motherboard info that you have 2 M.2 slots - one for the wifi module and one on the back for storage. I suggest you check you installed the storage in the slot on the back of the board.

OK it seemed to work I can now see the drive in my El Capitan install in Disk Utility as Samsung 960 EVO (uninitialized). So I am going to go ahead and attempt to install Sierra on it.
