Anyone been to the new campus yet? I wish I could share more details but I can't, very excited though.

Success with Dual AMD R9 390x (8GB Each) with El Capitan 10.11.5

No I had the R9 390X in my previous Windows machine which I was using parts from for the Hackintosh - it was more a case of not wanting to buy another video card at the time.

    SSL Weirdness

Yeah it was a Date/Time issue although my date and time wasn't wrong I am guessing that there was an issue connecting to the NTP servers or something when the machine booted up.

    SSL Weirdness

Booted my Hackintosh this morning and every single SSL certificate failed. OS X was claiming they had all expired (despite none of them being expired) - forcing me to reload every site in Safari and my mail server connections. Has anyone experienced this before?

    Samsung SM960 EVO NVMe

I fixed mine by re-adding the El Capitan EFI partition to the UEFI table using easyuefi in windows. Have since installed Sierra on the m.2 drive and am having no problems so far.

    Six Sata ports Not enough

Well you don't need a card for NAS - it is a separate network device with its own OS. There are many consumer NAS boxes which are OSX compatible (or you can build your own with a cheap motherboard, case with lots of storage bays and FreeNAS/NAS4Free or similar OS). The whole point of a NAS is...

    Six Sata ports Not enough

How on earth is 6 SATA ports not enough? 1 for windows, 1 for El Capitan & 1 for Optical Drive. Use a NAS if you need more storage. Failing that buy a PCI-E RAID Card they are cheap as chips for software RAID expensive as hell for hardware RAID but should work fine - just make sure you buy a...

    Intel 750 Series 2.5" 800GB PCI-Express 3.0

Anything on a mackintosh can be easily broken with updates :). Just make sure you have patches ready if you are going to update and ensure you don't have auto-update enabled.

    Intel 750 Series 2.5" 800GB PCI-Express 3.0

There is no extensive modification required for NVMe - it takes 5 minutes to install the patch and reboot to install media...

Where are you based? Here in Europe there are still plenty of 900 series cards in stock at all the major retailers (online and offline).

uh oh... Did I put a m.2 ssd where I need to install a wifi card?

States clearly in your motherboard info that you have 2 M.2 slots - one for the wifi module and one on the back for storage. I suggest you check you installed the storage in the slot on the back of the board.

Apple magic keyboard 2 work in BIOS/Clover selection menu?

There is no "Delete" key on the Magic Keyboard which is why it doesn't work to get into the BIOS. I am trying to figure out how to do this as well - I currently still have my USB keyboard connected but it would be nice to find a solution to enter BIOS from the Magic Keyboard. I have the Fenvi...

    Paladine's Skylake i7 6700k + 32GB + Inno3D GTX 980Ti Black Series Hybrid S

So I have made a few changes. I now have the Fenvi Bluetooth/WiFi card which worked out of the box and gives me full Continuity/AirDrop/HandOff/iWatch Unlock support as well as working in BIOS, Post and Clover. So to go with that I have added a Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad 2. I have also...

Looking for some help with NVMe please.

Yeah I got it installed but when I tried to use Migration Assistant to move all my apps over from Time Machine it corrupted the install and I ended up with Kernel Panics so I did a fresh install again and this time I am re-installing my apps manually. A little bit of a pain in the ass but it...

Direct Update to macOS Sierra using Clover

Is it possible to use this direct update method but install Sierra on a different drive?

Looking for some help with NVMe please.

OK it seemed to work I can now see the drive in my El Capitan install in Disk Utility as Samsung 960 EVO (uninitialized). So I am going to go ahead and attempt to install Sierra on it.

Fenvi FV-T919A - Wireless Network Card

OK I have fixed this issue. It was related to my UEFI list getting screwed up after I installed an NVMe drive. Because I had to use the USB install to boot instead of my actual clover configuration, it seems iCloud didn't recognise my machine (because it wasn't the correct SMBIOS info). I...

Looking for some help with NVMe please.

Could I perhaps do this on my 2016 MacBook Pro (it is running the latest version of Sierra) or do I have to do it on a Hackintosh?
