    Haswell-E + X99 Motherboard Temporary Guide - OS X 10.10

I'm still struggling with my X99 build. I've had the reboot loop issue as well as others, depending on the boot arguments and which type of partition I create. Regretting attempting an X99 build for my first one for sure....

    12-core X99 Hackintosh Pro build

I have another question, sorry. Could you describe in detail which folders/sub folders on the USB bootable drive that the attachment files should go? Thank you. I've been struggling with my build for about 2 months. If I'd seen your original post, I wouldn't have started my first build with...

    12-core X99 Hackintosh Pro build

When creating the USB boot drive, there is are EFI and Legacy options. Unibeast 6 won't let you skip this step, so one must be chosen. Which one should be used in this process? Thanks!

    12-core X99 Hackintosh Pro build

Were you able to get your Asrock build working? Did you do anything different? I've got an Asrock x99 but can't get it to boot from the USB Unibeast drive. Thanks!

    Haswell-E + X99 Motherboard Temporary Guide - OS X 10.10

Thanks, I'm going to give this a shot over the next couple of days. I originally planned to install Yosemite, as I'm using this for music production and some of the software I use isn't compatible with El Capitan yet, but hopefully it won't be long until it is. Thanks :)

    Haswell-E + X99 Motherboard Temporary Guide - OS X 10.10

I did try that, but only a couple of times. Mostly I'm using boot arguments npc=0x2000 -f and -v. My motherboard is an Asrock X99 WS and my processor is an Intel 6 Core Xenon. A buddy of mine found a thread here that has some other options that I'm going to try. I'll report back on any...

    Haswell-E + X99 Motherboard Temporary Guide - OS X 10.10

I'm getting this error when trying to boot from USB Unibeast drive using -v -f -x and npci=0x2000 arguments: (Motherboard is an Asrock X99 WS.) panic(cpu 8 caller 0xffffff8000...): Kernel trap at 0xffffff...., type 14=page fault, registers: CRO: I have a 6 core CPU so I'm not sure what the cpu...

    Unique! X99 Mini-ITX Build - ASRock X99E-ITX/ac - SSD SM951 - 6 core 5820K - 32GB - GTX970

I found the answers here (link below) in case anyone else is having trouble. I didn't realize that when the boot loader appears, all you have to do is start typing and a text entry field will appear for the npci=0x2000 :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjMXkB2wMWE

    Unique! X99 Mini-ITX Build - ASRock X99E-ITX/ac - SSD SM951 - 6 core 5820K - 32GB - GTX970

Hi guys, I'm building my first Mackintosh here and I'm struggling getting started. My questions are pretty basic, and forgive me if I'm asking ignorant ones. I've created my USB boot drive with Unibeast per instructions. I'm stuck on step 2 of the first post: Steps 2.1 and 2.2 - these...
