I tried upgrading to Yosemite today, but I got a freeze every time after a couple of minutes.

Just remember to tar up /usr/local and remove it if you run homebrew, otherwise the install might take up to a couple of days, no joke.

Is 10.9.5 treating everyone alright? Can I upgrade?
