yes. the final version of Yosemite is what I'm keeping indefinitely but adding security and the graphics driver updates. Im not sure if there is a newer driver for nvidia on yosi though or not eh?
I dont know but I find that if I try to build an xcode project with the current xcode version it gives me an your machine has an invalid id/serial number error >> so save it out to a real apple basically though there might be a way around this. there were copies of xcode on pirate bay that...
The problem is solved by changing compression mode to lzss in usr/standalone/bootcaches.plist +
rebuilding caches and then adding flag, kernel cache / s/l/e/ com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/kernelcache to cham boot plist for legacy chameleon , Yos 10.10.5 + security update & etc.
Recently encountered a similar problem, except with yosemite after the 2016-011 security update. System always loads in a -f , flagged state and checks every kext , instead of reading the kext cache > the system worked normally before. Tried multiple methods of cache rebuild? Is this an update...
I found the update *works* but will require newer nvidia web drivers if you use them, you'll again need to remove some of the kexts you might have taken out before from the extensions folder to get it working. Or run multibeast etc, whichever again. It also messed up hdmi audio, searching for a...
This is rad, but any chance of a non-clover based process? Hrmm. Using nvidia web drivers + hmdi audio kext from 2015, worked for me until the security update 2016 001.
>>I'm still having a different issue after the 2016-001 security update where, it seems like the kextcache isn't being used, and it runs through a check on everything (i always use verbose) before it boots as if I had type (-f) or done a kext rebuild etc, which ive done, etc perms repair etc, ...
:wtf: After a few harrowing moments, and restarts and a kext cache rebuild (or three) i got it working with the newest yosemite version 14F1605 , with nvidia 346.02.03f005, but watch out! I previously had removed apple graphics control.kext and graphicspowercontrol.kext to get my card to work...
Just a note for anyone using these: I have a Titan X and found that while it seemed to be functionally working ,ie. photoshop and 3d programs would show fully accelerated under open cl settings and etc. when i first logged in the system profiler / nvidia utility wouldn't recognize it and showed...
