Bios is f8m beta. I had issues with F7 freezing with 4 sticks of ram.

Try upgrading to the latest F8 BIOS. After that I haven't had a freeze. Regarding the System Agent voltage, I got the same results at you. Less freezing, but it still froze here and there doing minor tasks (like opening iPhoto or iMessage for example). Give it a try updating your BIOS...

Have you tried increasing the System Agent voltage +0.125V? This, and the memory voltage to 1.65V (my Kingston's require it), and it's been very stable.

Found the system agent. Read some guides where over clocked systems run it at +0.1V. I set it up to that much.

What are your actual voltage values, though? I concur with you, after increasing the voltage to 1.65V, my system is extremely stable. I don't know what the System Agent voltage is though, where do you find that setting in the BIOS?

I have your exact hardware. Did you do multibeast with the "no-dsdt" option first? I added the FakeSMC plugins, and no-dsdt audio drivers for ALC898, also I'm using Chimera 2.2.1 as boot loader. That's for the initial setup.

Upgraded using the App Store Update, 10.8.3 -> 10.8.4 no problems, Gigabyte P67A-D3-B3 and NV430GT.

Look for a thread in this forum called 10.8.2 problems, your solution is in there. Basically, it means rolling back a kext.

No overclock yet. Trying to get sleep working on Lion first. Waiting for the lnx2mac's Realtek driver for my RTL8169 card to see if that fixes my sleep issues. I do know Speedstep works.

Re: Help| Install +First Post I believe Windows 7 needs to be re-installed when you change from IDE/SATA to AHCI mode. Not sure about Ubuntu.
