I figured out how to remove the kexts from L/E but still have same reboot loop. Wondering if I need to rebuild the kext cache or something like that. How to do from UEFI shell?
I installed the latest LiLu and WhateverGreen kexts into /Library/Extensions (assuming that is what you meant by L/E) and it's giving me a reboot loop, even when booting from USB stick.
How do I get rid of the kexts from that folder using Clover UEFI Shell?
I had version 4769 installed. I am going to upgrade to Mojave from High Sierra so I figured I would update Clover first. I updated Clover to 4871. Before rebooting, I also updated LiLu and WhateverGreen kexts in the /EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other folder to the latest versions. There is also a Lilu...
I believe I have the same problem. At some point, I started installing the betas and lost USB ports. Only my USB headphone works. No USB sticks work anymore. I've attached my config file in case anyone is able to take a look and spot an issue.
I have a GTX 1060 currently and using LiLu and NVidiaGraphicsFixUp along with NVidia Web drivers. I have an RX 560 that I want to switch to because I don't game and I'd rather have a better experience when software updates come along.
So what steps in order do I need to do when switching to the...
I encountered the same problem after I let the OS install the latest update. So I went into the clover options and turned off lilu. I was able to get into the desktop. The first thing that popped up was the nvidia drivers telling me that there was an update. I should have ignored it and just...
I recently had times where even though the computer itself was not in sleep mode, the monitor went to sleep and doesn't wake. This might be happening 10% or less of the times. After trying different key combinations to wake up the monitor, the one I found that works is Command-F2 combo. It wakes...
I can confirm it's not working for me. I upgraded to 10.12.4 on my i5 6600K/HD530 without removing the HD530 patches since someone posted above that it wouldn't make a difference. Also changed darkwake to 10. The only weird thing that happened as a result of the upgrade is that although my audio...
For what it's worth, I'm running a Core i5 6600k using HD530 to an Acer G247HYU 2K monitor via HDMI @
2560 x 1440 @ 60 Hz.
I didn't do anything special to get it to run at 2k. I had a 1080p monitor before and just bought and switched to the 2k monitor. Simply plugged it in and turned the PC on...
So is the bottom line that the HD530 will not wake up when the system wakes up? I've tried VGA, DVI, and HDMI and the result is the same on all 3 connections. When my system wakes up, the display does not wake up and the system ends up reseting itself.
Just wanted to post that I couldn't get HDMI audio to work on my Gigabyte GA-H170M-DS3H with an Core i5-6600K and no video card. But after removing only the following from my config.plist, did HDMI audio work.
I removed:
DSDT patch: Rename HDAS to HDEF
I did not remove the following...
