I don't think i actually uninstalled at that point. I installed everything it was working fine, updated the OS with the idea that it would boot up properly but without the Nvidia drivers and that i then could update the Nvidia drivers. But it wouldn't boot at all anymore after updating the OS.

Just curious, why would you need 16GB in the Macbook? Because i love my Macbook, but it ain't the memory that's holding back anything, it's the "slow" cpu mostly ;)
