I'm have the exact same build as OP, but I have some problems.
For some reason when I boot into the clover launcher, I cannot see the option to boot into the installation program on the other USB. I tried the USB on another desktop and it worked, I've also reinstalled everything twice over. I...
I have no understanding of frame buffer edits. From all that I've found, it seems that it's all automatic patchers and none are available for my type of device. Obviously there's a way to manually do this, but I have no idea where to find this. Thanks.
I used a program to look through the EDID and it said it was valid and had all the correct info about the built in display. I think it may be an issue related to the framebuffer.
Especially if that has to do with the boot issue saying "hmm mismatch sizes 3100 vs 20"
hmm I used a website-based decoder and it said a lot of the data was void, so I think it's obvious I got the wrong data. If you want to look through it, it's here...
Okay, so I installed Windows 10 and used moninfo and got the EDID. I injected it and enabled injectEDID but all it does is restart my computer. Here's the new config.plist.
I entered it in as 00ffffffffffff0030e400000000000000180104901a0e780263e5a159579e271d505400000001010101010101010101010101010101581b567e50000e3024303500009010000019000000000000000000000000000000000000000000fe004c4720446973706c61790a2020000000fe004c503131365748362d535041310043
Most guides tell me to convert it from a hex code to a beta64 code but my plist editor says that it wants it in a hex code, but when I do put the hex code in and save the editor adds spaces within the code.;
I'm just gonna download an image of my OS X to a 128gb flash drive I have and format the whole thing than reinstall the OS to it. Then I can reuse that same flash drive to upload a windows installer to it and use that on a small partition where I can find the info you need. I hope this works.
I'm kinda stuck right now. Lenovo boot manager is annoying won't get deleted and it blocks the SSD from being able to boot straight to clover on it. I can't find a work around so I have to keep using the USB in the mean time. On top of that I can't find anyway to install windows 7-10 on my PC...
I don't exactly have any way to boot windows right now without deleting the OS off my SSD. The only other way would be to take the SSD from my desktop with Windows 10 and try
