How did you get the power button to work?

If i had one that didn't work to mod it, i wouldn't like to use a CRT. I would rather use an HP L1702.

This build is very nice! I would like to do this someday with a nonworking one. I have a working one, which is very nice. The design of these computers are satisfying ;)

oh. well, it was the AMD Radeon 6470M's fault of not being FULLY compatible with El Capitan. hope it gets fully supported in Sierra.

yeah, i had the same problem on my hp 8560p, but it could be solved. also i have a clover problem on the 8560p, and that is, when you start up the computer from the hdd on clover, after the boot screen completes, it shows a black screen. hopefully os x sierra will fix that (wait did i just say...

I once tried that in Leopard 10.5.7, the os worked without the GMA.. hopefully someone can port it from linux to os x.

thank you very much, and just to know i still have an audio problem, a usb 3 problem, a wifi problem (in which that is supposed to happen since os x does not support intel wifi) and i also said that my audio codec is an IDT 92HD80...
