As long as you don’t use a VGA port I don’t see any problem.

Didn‘t talk about Syphone. Sound Control. I experienced with Sound Flower always a distortion noise after a couple of minutes. Thats why I was searching for alternatives. And Sound Control is an alternative. There are no ads till yet. But I am in try out mode. May because of that?

I am using Soundflower and can tell so far, it also consumes the same amount of CPU resources and prevents sleep as well. I am going to try Sound Control and hope to have a better "comfort". I am a little disappointed from Apple that they make some things that complicated without ANY reason...

Same problem here too. But its not always like that, it comes up randomly. It started after the upgrade to High Sierra. Fresh install didnt solve this issue.

I also had the problem. What I did was changing the SystemVersion in the /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist from 17C2120 to 17C88 and then I was able to just install it normally. Somehow it believed I got a iMac Pro No problems so far.

There is no reason to use that. I use only Clover settings for now and it seems to be better. PS: High Sierra also works perfectly ;)

If you use the latest applehda.kext you will need lilu.kext too to make it work.

Have you tried a different usb port. May one on the backside. I had a problem with front usb.

Same here too. Works lagfree now. And there is no real impact on deactivating this thing?

I did it twice from a macbook pro. Worked like a charm. Just setup your hackintosh first with the right clover settings and kexts and them use the migration assistant. I am not 100% sure but i guess i already used it in the installation process too.

Does someone have the dsdt.aml for this board? And does it work for clover too?

Which version of AppleALC r u using? The newer one need LILU.kext too.
