Gotcha, but worse case scenario would that fix the problem? I know that's probably not the perfect solution if it would work, but I just want to know if you think it would?
I tried it once, but failed trying... I don't think I did anything wrong, but I'll try it again. Worse comes to worse, could I buy one of those USB pci adapters?
So I saw the solution for intel USB 3.0 fix, and I tried it, but realized that mine has an asmedia USB 3.0 controller. So I tried the generic kext patch, but that didn't seem to do the trick. Do you have any other ideas?
Hey so I have a hackintosh I built, and I got OS X El Capitan installed. It's on an Asus x99-a ii motherboard with a i7 5820k processor. USB 2.0 ports work just fine, But the USB 3.0 ports don't work. There are a couple settings for xhci in the bios, but none of them work. I've also tried...

I've literally look everywhere to figure out how to get my graphics card working. It may not even be possible, but I've gotten Mac OS X Mavericks installed, and everything works fine except my trackpad, and my graphics card. I can live without the trackpad because I usually use a mouse anyways...
