I just found a working solution for me. I found the solution here:

1. Mount your EFI
2. Download this UEFI Driver
3. Replace OsxAptioFix2Drv.efi with /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI/OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi

I have the same problem. I got High Sierra installed (10.13.2) with everything running fine except for this.
I boot in verbose and sometimes it stucks on "Does printf work?" and sometimes it boots fine. I've tried several boot flags and UEFI drivers, but nothing seemed to change.

adding the 2 entries in clover configurator/ACPI/DSDT:
Item 1:
Comment: change EHC1 to EH01
Find: <45484331>
Replace: <45483031>
Item 2:
Comment: change EHC2 to EH02
Find: <45484332>
