Unlock With Apple Watch Not Working In Catalina

Thanks for the info. I had seen something about disabling serial ports in the past, unfortunately my Asus z370 board does not have that option. I thought there might be a way to do it in OpenCore but it's beyond my knowledge to figure it out. Glad to hear you got yours working.

Unlock With Apple Watch Not Working In Catalina

Actually I found you don't need to remove the card if you set up IGPU graphics in your bios and use -wegnoegpu in your boot arguments. You also need to change your device id for your CPU to one which is compatible with using the iGPU. I had a headless device ID and needed to change that to a...

Unlock With Apple Watch Not Working In Catalina

I also am having similar problems with Watch unlock. However after seeing a post online another person with the problem mentioned that it started working flawlessly when they removed their graphics card. So what the heck I tried that and sure enough my Watch unlock worked great. From sleep and...

    AMD Radeon Performance Enhanced SSDT

Thanks for that. Yes I had the original setup in my config, but given the lack of performance increase on my 580 I'd just like to enjoy the lower power consumption by just enabling the Orinoco frame buffer.

    AMD Radeon Performance Enhanced SSDT

Like you I've been happy with the reduced power consumption. I still have the full entry in device properties, could you please tell me what entries you need in device properties just to enable the Orinoco frame buffer. Thanks.

    AMD Radeon Performance Enhanced SSDT

I actually discovered if you just copy the entire coding from the post and paste it into ProperTree it will convert it into the format required for OpenCore. It was a pleasant surprise!

    macOS 10.15.1 Update

I had this same issue with the beta. There’s a boot arguement you need to add to Clover. Unfortunately, I’m not at home and don’t remember it, but hopefully it’ll help limit your searching for a solution.

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

This may be a bit of a long shot for you, but I've discovered that my system only displays the bios post on boot up from 1 display port jack on my Sapphire 580. If I plug into the other jack I do not see the bios post similar to your experience. My equipment is different but thought I'd make...

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I remember when I was using the Mojave beta on a spare drive I was unable to get anything between 3840x2160 and 1920x1080. Kinda like Goldilocks one is too small and the other is too big! I do know a couple of things did make a difference for me but I don't remember the detailed results....1...

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Regarding the resolutions, in Systems preferences/Displays press the option key when clicking the scaled button and a drop down menu will show. If you're running IGPU in Mojave I believe the scaled selections are more limited, at least from my recollection playing with IGPU before I got my AMD...

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Thanks for sharing your results. With respect to settings I'd recommend you check out a few overclocking guides on YouTube if you have the time. ASUS boards have a tendency to push too much voltage with the automatic settings. I've been able to get a stable 5.0 overclock using 1.23 volts with an...

Mojave with Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX580

I found that when using Displayport I required lilu.kext and what evergreen.text to avoid black screens on boot with the RX 580... This is using 18,3 and Mojave...

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I would suggest trying manual OC profiles. There are many overclocking guides available, a simple google search for Coffee Lake overclocking guides will reveal some good ones. I found that Asus auto overclocking settings tend to push the CPU voltages higher than is necessary which may be...

    Graphics Test: Bruce X

Sorry for the delay here, attached is the requested EFI. You may notice I'm using the new virtual SMC kext. Also I have AppleALC, Whatevergreen, Lilu and Ethernet kexts in /library/extensions. Also I'm not using properties in clover to inject the IGPU properties but am relying on Mojave to do it...

Sure I can do that. Unfortunately I’m away (visiting a great place Tequisquiapan in Mexico) and not with my computer. I’ll be back in a couple of days.

    Graphics Test: Bruce X

For those of you experiencing slow times I was experiencing slow times for my Sapphire Radeon Pulse RX580 (56 secs) so I did a little experimenting under the assumption the IGPU was being used alone in this test. I changed the device ID in properties to Ox3E910003 (from which is a connectorless...

FakeSMC & Sensors - Incorrect readings Z370F Vega 56 Pulse

@jumper981 did you ever resolve this? I have the exact issue with the voltage sensors. From what I've observed the Cpu voltage is about I/2 of what it should be. I tried the new virtualsmc and sensors and the voltages are now correct but there is no fan info yet.

[SOLVED] Crash report! How to fix this?

I had a similar issue and only had the kext on the desktop after using it to check my power management settings. I removed it and everything is fine.

    Unable to Install Sierra

Haimann951, thanks very much for your post. I followed the instructions in the link and it worked perfectly! It seems strange that clover won't recognize the install files for macOS but does for OS X Install. I'm assuming it must be related to the disk search function in Clover.
