Upgrade went fine until final boot. Turned out to be the wireless driver. Upgraded it and worked without problems on HP Probook 8th gen laptop, Dell Inspiron 5482. On Dell Precision 5520 it worked too, but some issues with rebooting, everytime at boot it shows that the OS was not closed...

@jdran not sure what you mean, this is not for macs. @Yousif I used what I linked to : device properties in config.plist. Make sure your card does not show up under graphics, it might not be properly disabled. Follow the guide and verify, good luck

ok, adding SSDT-PNLF seemed to do it at first, and then the issue came back. After resetting the NVRAM it seems to keep working. thanks!

it might be a graphics config issue or NVram. Try to reset the NVram with opencore, that worked for me on my UX310UAK.

In general, a grey screen may be caused by a graphics setup issue. I had this issue once too which was resolved by resetting the NVram in OpenCore. Make sure to try that too and check all BIOS settings to be correct and matching you graphics setup.

It's nice to have a workaround, is there a solution to just install from USB? I have the same issue. Anybody fixed this?
