This is most likely because of the VoodooI2C. Check my new release and guide, there are chances that it will help you. You will need serious modifications anyway though, you will need different SMBIOS and graphics injection id so I don't recommend you to use this guide without changes for your...
I've fully revamped the guide and the EFI itself, it is now OpenCore-based and updated for 10.15, so I'm inviting you to the new thread, all info is now available here
macOS 10.15 Catalina on Acer Swift 3 SF315-51-518S (could work on others too)
TL;DR If you want an easy way to install macOS and not make all the OpenCore EFI yourself, there's an already-built version in my repository.

Hey guys! I am sorry for leaving this guide as-is, my Clover went through several iterations and now I'm ready to update it. Big thanks for support, and if you have any questions, feel free to ping me!
macOS 10.14.0 Mojave on Acer Swift 3 SF315-51-518S
Hi there! I got my laptop 5 days ago (SF315-51-518S) and my first idea was to install macOS on it, so... That happened and now I wanna share things I did with tonymacx86!
Specs
CPU : Intel Core i5-8250U (Kabylake-R)
Graphics : Intel UHD 620...
Yeah, my guide is only for Kaby-Lake R modification, i'm afraid you should find another guide on a laptop with HD520, because it wouldn't work with my setup for sure. Btw this guide is a bit outdated, i'm working on refreshed version now.
Hey guys! I'm sorry, the laptop is not mine, but I recently updated all the configuration and cleaned it a lot. As new MacBook Pros came out I will wait untill Clover will update with appropriate 8th-gen SMBIOS and will upload new folder.
Man you can just set DVMT to 64MB in BIOS, Wootever unlocked using of modded BIOS on Air 2016 model. More info on xda-developers. Refer me if you need help
By the way, you can use even more dirty hack to make dualboot setup. I created ubuntu folder, put clover efi file here and named it GRUBX64.efi, which is perfect as I don't need to rename boot file each time.
Finally, after 2 months of waiting my notebook is here! Problems for now: WiFi/BT (I guess BT wouldn't work even with adapter, because Key M doesn't have USB logical interface which is needed for BT), trackpad is awful (no palm rejection, "phantom finger",when you're not moving your finger fast...
Yeah, as RehabMan said it's just incompatibility between macOS and Intel SSD (maybe some others too). I didn't solved it but made that bug appearing as rare as possible: I disabled pmset standby and "disk sleep" option. It's still may happen but once a day, not 6 times.
Feels bad... What can I do to make it work at least slightly better? I don't have money for new SSD now, that lags are PITA. Or replacement is the only solution?
Bump, problem still exists. Tried to disable sleep modes (Power Nap for example), KextPatch to change Preffered block size to 0x10, that doesn't worked. I'm not the only one who got problems with Intel 600p under macOS, but I didn't seen a solution different from a replacement. Any help on this...
Hello guys! I faced a trouble on my Acer Swift 3 hackintosh installation, after sleep my computer may be very laggy, so I need to reboot it (twice, problem remains after first reboot, that's happening not always but quite often). After some basic research I found that there is a problem with...
Exactly.
I am Russian, we got realy big forums about logic boards, datasheets for it and so on. Can you please send us full photos, as more as you can? It would be very helpful. As my notebook will be with me (chinese delivery is so long...) I'll search information we need about it. IMO dongle...
It is complete truth, but as of my research there is also key B slot, new one, which has USB + PCIe x1, so it's basically a way better idea (plus it's make the extender cables twice shorter). The problem is i found only one DIY on Key B > Key A/E adapter and can't see any commercial one... Can...
