Bought a BCM94360CD and expected Handoff / Continuity to work OOB, but I'm having some troubles.
Wifi and Bluetooth are working great, but Handoff only works once when I reboot. On my iPhone, if I view a text, I can click the Handoff icon on my hack, and it switches to Messages, but Handoff...
If you're using Clover Configurator, under Boot set Timeout to 0. Otherwise, in your config.plist, modify this manually here:
<key>Boot</key>
<dict>
<key>Timeout</key>
<integer>0</integer>
</dict>
No, this wouldn't work. For starters, your cloned hard drive wouldn't have any of the correct information to boot or run OS X for the hardware in your hack.
The text is called a kernel panic. After a few searches, it looks like your issue might be in fixed by installing the NullCPUPowerManagement kext.

Install it using multibeast once you boot with -x
I would try a different monitor / DVI cable / connection. Try HDMI. Try turning your monitor on and off again (this actually worked for me when I first tried to boot the installer).
On my hack it only takes until 1/8th of the loading bar with the Apple logo to start, at which point I'm at the...

Installed the web drivers, selected them from the dropdown menu, edited boot args, then rebooted?
Continuity / Handoff in Yosemite with BCM94360CD only works once after reboot
I have an Apple BCM94360CD installed and WiFi and Bluetooth are working flawlessly. I've followed all of the steps I can find to enable handoff since it was my understanding it should be natively supported, yet when...
Good. USB3 is natively supported in Yosemite, one of my errors was that I had included that kext mistakenly. The only additional advice I can share is to try moving the dongle, switching USB ports and/or getting it closer to your devices. With mine placed at the back of the tower, it would take...
I have the GTX 970 working in Yosemite.
What I did:
Boot with nv_disable=1 which disables the NVIDIA drivers bundled with the OS
Install the NVIDIA web drivers from the link below
Boot with nvda_drv=1 from then on
More info...
I use the same Bluetooth dongle on Yosemite and can use my bluetooth keyboard and mouse at the login screen.
I'm assuming you're on Yosemite? What bootloader are you using? Are you using GenericUSBXHCI.kext?
For some reason, on my hack, disconnecting or connecting USB devices causes the machine to wake from sleep. I've tested it with a printer and multiple flash drives, meanwhile my real Macbook does not wake for such an event.
For example, if I unplug a USB flash drive while it is sleeping, the...
I'm using the same motherboard as you and I have Yosemite booting just fine.
On first boot to get into the installer, you should use the boot flags: -v -no-zp nv_disable=1
The first flag is to hide the apple logo screen and show verbose output, the second IIRC stands for no zone protection and...
Thanks RehabMan! That makes a lot of sense now, I just assumed it was universal since it appears in Clover Configurator's Boot options.
Do you have any advice on how to investigate what is causing the system to wake and why? I'm not sure if I should find the device(s) that are causing the...
That was my understanding as well. I'm also not sure that it is a USB 3.0 issue, since the kernel flag -gux_defer_usb2 caused the GenericUSBXHCI kext to work, and that flag causes USB 2.0 devices to defer to AppleUSBEHCI instead of GenericUSBXHCI.
Since I'm no longer using GenericUSBXCHI, I...
