ok, I just got a 1520 and I try to install SL again on it for a friend ( together with XP). The standard installation with iBoot and Multibeast was ok, but strangely after first reboot no USB stick is recognized ( USB mouse works) . I dont use DSDT, I already rolled back USB but nothing happens.

ok, it worked..I booted into my backup and..Voila :P great. BTW, you installed a T9300 in your 1720? does it support this CPU, interesting, I thought of this,too..a pity that it doesnt run 800Mhz RAM.. cheers

I got this card but it isnt recognized by my system, it should work with the Broadcom chip.. profiler says: " 0c:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4328 802.11a/b/g/n [14e4:4328] (rev 03)" I installed drivers for it under Vista, too.. perhaps a little plist tweaking, what...

I´m testing 'max_valid_dma_addr=1024' now, so far, IT SEEMS TO WORK! first time that I can do some DSL speed test..great! :thumbup: to the one who found that out.. greets another thing..some people have problems with sleep, i found this: It is possible, that the DVD drive is causing this...

no, I´m not using VoodooBattery.kext, after installation problems I avoid most Voodoo.. ;) (ok, the PS2Controller is Voodoo-based, well..) I guess the battery is crappy, I used it over a year together with AC, so.. (it is blinking 3x orange and 1x blue, it is to the right, above the Blutooth...

well, I love my 1720 with SL, its great, neer had a single failure yellow line.. installed 10.6.3 with combo update 10.6.4. I had a hard time to get ethernet and trackpad clicking working, but now it seems to work....YAY!! :headbang: - ethernet does work, with the AppleBCM440XEthernet.kext...
