Hi
I have had my hackintosh (Clover) for around 4 days now, and everything was working fine, until today.
I now suddenly can't boot into windows, but OSX is fine. They're both installed UEFI, and windows was working for 3 days, but now it suddenly doesn't. Windows is on one SSD and osx is on...
Hi
Yesterday I installed this theme called "Universe" for my hackintosh, using Clover. Well, I think I have anyways.
I have put the downloaded zip with the theme into EFI/CLOVER/Themes folder, and changed the config.plist theme section with the name of the new theme.
However.. The problem is it...
Cheers, it seems like i installed Legacy then. Do i need to reinstall windows UEFI then?
EDIT: I installed it using UEFI, and now everything works. Thank you very much :)
Hi
I want to dual boot Windows 8.1 and Yosemite 10.10.3, on two seperate drives. What I have done so far:
Unplug my 120GB SSD and install Windows 8.1 on my 250GB SSD.
Unplug my 250GB Windows SSD, plug in my 120GB SSD and install Yosemite 10.10.3 on the 120GB SSD.
Now when i plug in both SSD's...
Thanks for the reply, I went ahead and downloaded the trial version for now. Do I just backup my install drive, or do i need to backup EFI or something else?
Hi
I just got my first hackintosh working today using Clover. Now I'd like to create a backup, so that if I mess something up, I can always go back to a working version.
What is the best free method to do this, and is there a guide anywhere?
I'm just planning on using the guide posted here, as I've never done this before.. Just got done building it, installing windows on one of the SSD's now, OSX will have to wait till tomorrow :)

Cpu-cooler: Coolermaster hyper 212 EVO
GPU: MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
PSU: Corsair RM750W

Cheers mate, I really appreciate the tips! I will try to get Clover working, hope I can!
I actually have these components from my old computer that I can put in instead, as long as they won't cause any problems? Selling my old system is proving to be harder than expected hehe, so I'm thinking...
I already have 3 (2x21.5" and 1x27") monitors so that's already taken care of :)
And I will definitely go for air cooling, water cooling is too expensive for the performance I need.
Would the Corsair RM 650W Gold (fully modular) be enough for this rig? I know I would have to upgrade if I decide...
Thank you very much for your answer.
And right, the GTX 970 was more for gaming on windows than it was for development on osx.
Putting in 16GB Ram should be no problem :)
Does it matter at all (in regards to installing osx) which case, cpu cooler and psu I choose?
