So pretty much everything is done. iMessage is a bit funky but I think I may know the way around that... but I'm now having problems getting sound. I've got sound through my MB. But do not know how to get sound through my DisplayPort cables hooked into my gfx card. Can't seem to find leads on this.

OS X is installed on my SSD. Every time I reboot the computer, I am brought to the Clover boot loader screen. I have to go into options, enter another flag (nv_disable = 1), then I can boot. Every time. Edit: I can boot without nv_disable=1 now. But every time I boot I still go to the Clover...

Have finally gotten Clover to boot, and so now I'm trying to work through some of the issues I'm facing. First question: with Clover, am I required to boot through the Clover boot loader every time I restart my computer? Right now that's what I have to do. Onto my issues, in order of priority...

Okay, so it wasn't quite one day. But here's the updates: So I think I have my Clover boot stick configured correctly. I turn on my computer, hold F12, select "UEFI: USB DISK 3.0 PMAP". From there, when the Clover screen comes up, I move the cursor to select "Boot OS X Install from Install OS X...

The only reason I was trying to use Unibeast was because through everything I read, the Clover install was much more complicated and involved. But I guess I'm this far down the rabbit hole. I'll report back later this evening when I have time to get a Clover attempt in.

Adding the nv_disable=1 flag solved my problem without having to switch from DisplayPort, so thanks for that! But I somehow am stuck in an infinite install loop, following the Unibeast install guide...

My monitor is connected via DisplayPort. Should I still try connecting over HDMI?
