Ok, does this look correct for the patch? I am away from my hack right now, so I can’t test it yet.

I updated the BIOS in my Hack and have a new entry in the DSDT that I cannot figure out how to patch. I have attached the problem reporting files, along with the patch I am using and a screenshot of the compile error. Thanks for any help.
Worked great. I hadn't used Hex Fiend in quite some time, so after installing it, I had to set the 'View' -> 'Byte Grouping' to 'Single' so I could more easily see the '55'. Thanks!
Cool. I actually reloaded Windows to check the front facing camera as it is not working properly. Fortunately it is under extended warranty. I’ll re-attempt with 10.12.6 when I get it back.
"Auto restart after shutdown" is a better description of my problem. I looked at my patched DSDT and there appear to be 4 devices that have PMEE. However, it is unclear to me how to edit the DSDT for that solution. I had tried both of shutdown patches in your repository, but neither corrected...
Got my Elite X2 last month and replaced Intel WiFi with Lenovo Card (ordered Dell 1560, was sent the wrong one; fixed by notching the card and works fine). Clean installed macOS Sierra 10.12.5 using the info from this thread and MultiBeast, except used VoodooPS2Controller and AppleHDA Patcher...
So I have a question about S/L/E and SIP. I have two Hacks on El Capitan; one was a direct upgrade from Yosemite, and the the other a clean install. I noticed that the System folder was hidden on both. After reading the info on SIP, I figured this was by design. I disabled SIP on my upgraded...

Ok, so I forgot I had a 20GB mSATA drive on this laptop that was not being used. So I installed Windows 8.1 to that drive and now have dual boot. I have verified that after booting into Windows, then restarting and booting Yosemite, my bluetooth works fully and I was able to pair a bluetooth...
Hello. I have an AR9462 as well that cannot connect to bluetooth devices and I no longer have windows installed. Did you find any other workarounds that didn't involve windows? Thanks.
I replaced the drive with an SSD and did not install windows. I have a windows install USB, but do not want to install windows. I don't think it will work, but will booting to the windows installer; quitting, then reboot to OS X work to check firmware?
I have an Atheros AR9462 wifi/bluetooth card installed in my Acer S3-391 laptop. I know this card is not supported, but I cannot replace it as it is soldered to the motherboard. However, I have read that some users with the same wifi card have gotten the bluetooth to function. On my laptop...
Hi Shinzon. I have a similar laptop (Acer S3-391) with HD3000 and Series 7 chip. I was trying to find the kext mentioned above, but cannot select it individually from the ProBook installer and I cannot figure-out how to create a kext form the source code. Where did you get the kext? Thanks.
Hmmm. I thought I had included the Edimax resource in the original post. Guess I must not have. Regardless, here is where you will find a driver for the Edimax (there are no kexts):

Also, as described in Step 5, here is where you...
