Same result.. :( Since you seem to be focusing on the USB here, could the problem also simply be in the USB stick? It's a 32GB one. Maybe I should try an older one, like a 4GB or something? Or 8?

With the GraphicsEnabler I get an unrecoverable error. With the second option it seems to be stuck at the same point: I've had the USB in both USB2.0 as well as 3.0 ports. Does it matter which one I take?
