Thanks for the help guys. I think I've worked out what's really going on. I used to use Chameleon as my boot loaders, but now when I boot it's back to booting via Chimea. How do I get it to go back to using Chameleon?

Hi Guys,
Just a bump on this one. I can still only boot with DSDT=nothing - is there a way to remove the DSDT I installed using Multibeast and start again?
Steve
Okay so I tried that (above) and I still get the same fatal error when trying to boot. The only way I can get into my Hackintosh is to boot with the DSDT=nothing flag. See the pic for the error message. Any other ideas to get me up and running again?
Hi Guys,
I had a working hackintosh and installed the latest Yosemite 10.10.5 combo update. After installing I ran Multibeast like I've done a million times after a combo update but this time selected a custom DSDT file I had on my desktop (not sure why - wasn't thinking).
Now I get a...
My iMessage was working just fine until whatever change was made mid November. Now I just get the "An error occurred during activation. Try again" error when trying to log in. I don't get the activation code or anything. I'm running Clover, but haven't updated it since October-ish.

Yosemite Boot Issues after UEFI Change [SOLVED]
Found the issue! Missed something in the UEFI configuration! Didn't set the SATA Mode Selection to AHCI!
Hi All,
I just changed my motherboard from BIOS to UEFI. The board is a Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 and this is what I did. I did have a working Yosemite installation prior to doing this.
Deleted DSDT file from the extra folder
Flashed new UEFI onto board
Selected Optimized Defaults and boot...
I'm in the same boat. GA-Z68XP-UD3 MB motherboard - I've unplugged everything (external and internal drives - other than my boot drive, blue tooth dongle etc) and can't get beyond this.
Something to do with ACPI perhaps?
I'm still having no luck getting my Jabra adapter to work. The Prod ID is 8449 and Vend ID is 2652.
This is the output from my system.log

Hi Guys - thanks for all the help on this. My BT hasn't been working since the 10.8.5 update and it's great to see there is a solution. I have a Jabra USB dongle and the Hackintosh just doesn't even recognize it anymore. The System Info doesn't see the dongle at all.
Am I right to assume...
That's cause I downloaded the 10.8.3 combo from Apple directly which I am pretty sure is the way that is recommended by the tonymacx86.com site. I quote from http://www.tonymacx86.com/317-os-x-10-8-3-update.html:
"Today Apple released 10.8.3, the third major update to OS X Mountain Lion. To...
Well no help later... I have got things up and running again. I will post my solution here in case it helps anyone else out that's having this problem.
The issue appears to be with MultiBeast. I was able to get the system booting again using the rDisk and booting with the -F option...
Hi Guys,
I've have a ML install running quite happily now for a long time. I installed 10.8.3 (not via the App Store) and lost my sound (ALC889). So thought I'd install the latest MB hoping to get my sound back. Now my system will not boot at all. At boot time very quickly after the boot...
Hi All,
I've got a GB mobo with an ALC888B and after 10.8.2 my sound doesn't work anymore. Seems to be related to a mobo bug - I need audio and thought perhaps I could just buy a new audio card.
Any recommendations on a cheapish card just to drive my desktop speakers so I can listen to...
This shows up in my System Info - so does the system see an 887 card? I'm very confused! I still don't see the line out in the Sound prefs like I used to!
Hi Again!
So I was running along quite fine on ML (10.8) with my ALC888b working just fine (based on the DSDT config above). I just applied the 10.8.2 update and my sound is gone again :(
I downloaded the latest MB (5.0.2) and selected the options in the image and rebooted and still no...
