Story of my life. Do you know of a proper method for updating with a Windows installation on the same drive? I really can't afford for either of the partitions to go haywire. I'll give that test USB a go.

That's a shame, would my best option be to create a bootable Clover USB and reinstall with 10.13? If I go down that route would it interfere with my Windows installation on the same SSD?

Hi, sorry if the answer is lurking around somewhere but I want to get this right. I need to update my Yosemite installation to at least 10.12 but I might as well update to 10.13 so I know my apps will work. However I've read that the update will change the file system to APFS so I'm concerned...

If you follow the guide it should work just fine, we had to scrap the system last year as we had no real use for it, the audio was still a problem I think, but the front connectors worked fine, just the back block didn't work to my knowledge.

Alrighty, so if I format the 500GB to FAT and add it to the Windows Programs partition within OSX or Windows it should just update with the new space, and shouldn't corrupt anything in therory?

Hi guys, I wanted to experiment by hackintoshing my Dell XPS 15 l501x, trouble is that if i try and install i get this odd dual black bars that split the screen in 4. I believe it has a first-gen i5 560m and a Nvidia GT 420m discreet card in it. I use -x to get to it otherwise it locks up. Jake

Might have just messed everything up, I followed the guide where it says use terminal to move the Users folder and going to to disk utility, selecting the partion and right clicking whatever. The thing is, i can't right click the partion and do that thing so i now need to move the damned...
