and if I want a BCM wifi card in a Probook 4430s? I have Catalina installed and a patched Atheros, but wanted to upgrade to a BCM. I saw in past there where modules to whitelist the cards and a DSDT patch. Any newer solution for a Broadcom card? thx

no need, just disable in bios the intel graphics. the problem is that install recognises the onboard video + pci Nvidia as dual cards, that causes: Window Server Service only ran for 0 seconds.

boot with intel graphics disabled in bios, verbose-mode and try SIP partly disabled or disabled. don't use nv_disable=1
