Just update the whatevergreen kext to 1.4.7 to my Big Sur with RX570 graphic card.
It causes a black screen. I need to use a USB boot loader to rectify it. Using back the 1.4.6 version is fine.
Puzzling me!
Black screen for my RX 560 if NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext is not put in EFI/Kext/Other.
RX 560 should be run OOB in High Sierra. Anyone can suggest the reason why?
My basic setup is MSI Z370 A pro with I5-8400.
Anyone can help me complete this task?
When I install the HS onto the APFS, there are 2 disk problem.
When I install onto the HFS system. Everything goes smoothly. Since I use GTX 760, natively supported card, I have no video problem using the HS. However, I really want to use the new file...
I have successfully installed High Sierra.
However, it can only boot from using the installation USB.
When boot from the disk, it takes a very long time to boot. Finally it still boot into the OS.
I observed that it may take more than 5 minutes to boot into the OS.
Anyone encounter similar...
I am using wifi most of the time.
Whenever I try to use the 5G wifi, the computer become unstable.
Including cannot shutdown but restart. Need reboot several time before entering the system.
I have no problem with wifi 5G when using Yosemite.
Any fix available?
Just want to report that the above USB wifi adapter works by using the generic wifi utility driver provided by Realtek.
This USB use Realtek RTL8812AU chipset. You can search for this driver if you want to try.
