    Yes, it allowed me to boot without -x, so what does that mean, is it fixed of will I have to enter those boot flags into the .plist thing?

    It will go through the Apple boot logo and the screen goes black and the progress bar does not show back up and will not continue, I have tried leaving it for an hour.     I reinstalled OSX 10.10.0 and I update to 10.10.3 and I cannot get past the boot logo without using -x, does anyone know what could be going on. I don't want to continue only booting with -x because when I boot with it, the display flashes a lot. Thanks in advance.

    I have attempted to fix the HDMI audio, but when I do the compile with DSDT editing, I get errors, please help. Thank you in advance. EDIT: This happens when I do the first step to be able to edit. I am getting errors with UEFI Compile file.

    I have ran the command to fix TRIM and it has not solved my problem to reactivate TRIM. :banghead: EDIT: Restarted again and it has worked

    I updated successfully and I only needed to reinstall my audio and TRIM. I have a question though, how can I check to see if TRIM is working? Thanks in advance. EDIT: Never mind, I found it, TRIM is not working for me as well :banghead:

    I didn't replace it, but when I put Yosemite on the computer, it wasn't present, so I just put it in there. Before I put the kext in, the card and Ethernet was not reconized, I had to put it in place to get OS X to see them. EDIT: Sorry if I sounded ignorant or rude on my reply
