Hey all, I had my hackintosh working really well, but then recently I decided to go from Yosemite to Mojave and the wifi is no longer a simple fix as it once was.
The install went fine as far as I could tell and I used @RehabMan 's scripts to install everything from the Brix installation guide...
I'm considering wiping my install and starting over with APFS rather than taking the upgrade path. I assume that I can just copy over my clover data and still keep the same system profile for the iMessage stuff (rather than create a new one). Anyone done this recently?
Anyone ever put 32GB of RAM into the 4770R Brix Pro?
I hit my head up against the 16GB RAM recently and wondered if it was possible to put it in and recognize it in macOS. I don't have this kind of RAM laying around and wondered if anyone else has tried it.
Also, there's some new Brix's on...
@headkaze thanks for your update report. I also updated this evening after updating clover and everything is fine. I have not done 4K yet, because I don't have a 4K monitor. If I did, I probably would try it.
One small weirdness is it thinks I have two monitors, but I only have one. I've mirrored them so they are the same, but I'm thinking I shouldn't have to.
Unplugging and replugging doesn't seem to work. Will try a reboot and update.
EDIT: Reboot made no difference. The issue isn't a big deal...
Can confirm. Upgraded last night on Brix Pro 4770R.
Upgraded Clover.
Copied kexts over to 10.12 folder.
Added HFS efi as suggested by HeadKaze.
Downloaded and upgraded macOS.
Had to select boot macOS install on reboot in clover.
20 minutes to reboot.
Select boot macOS in Clover.

Confirmed. Updated today. Screen went black during boot for about 5 seconds, but came back, finished install and logged in. No issues at all for Brix Pro.
Thanks for posting. I thought I followed your instructions, but I thought I would clarify just in case others might make my mistake.
Very important to check OsxAptioFix2Drv. The 2 is very important. :banghead:
I used Ubuntu on a stick to load the EFI partition and had to use sudo to force...
Thanks for sharing!
I don't have a 4k screen yet so I'm holding off on this, but want to eventually get 4k on this thing. You're absolutely right. It's a wonderful little computer with quite a bit of power under the hood. Been a godsend for my image processing.
Anyone done the update to...
Just FYI. I updated to 10.11.1 and things are fine. Didn't actually intend to, but hit update all and only thought it was iTunes and Xcode... before I knew it, it was installing the update too. :/
Bummer about your bluetooth complications. That sort of thing is mostly why I decided to go the USB route for BT, an out of the box WIFI card and USB sound card. The HDMI audio works from the kexts I moved to the 10.11 folder.
After an extra reboot things ran a lot better and now everything is...
Anyone had much luck with installing El Capitan?
I followed the instructions here:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capitan-desktop-guides/172107-direct-update-os-x-el-capitan-using-clover.html
But, when I boot into the installation from Clover, I get a big no symbol after a few seconds. I can...
