Yeah, it seemed overwhelming at first, but that guide navigates you around based on what hardware you have. I read through the whole guide following my hardware choices, then went through it again as i created my opencore efi. The opencore sanity checker is an amazing tool. You can pre build...
Yo! Thanks!
I have a lot of work piled up the next few days, but i’ll try to get that over to you! I still recommend reading thru the whole Dortania guide on github! I learned so much from it.
still using my calculated slide value
Found radeonboost.kext which drastically improved my radeon...
so i switched my system over to opencore 0.6.2 today.. feels more stable than my clover hack. This one running 10.15.7 i ran into one lttle hangup during the usbmapping but just figured it out
* i removed ssdt-rhub As seen in this pic as it did nothing for me and added the ssdt-usb rename*...
Apparantly you cant have a headless igpu if your board lacks a display output On any motherboard. I talked to people at msi and they said they cant make a bios option because it lacks the proper hardware. The best msi board to hack is the gaming pro carbon (non-ac). I would love to try and...
Glad that it worked!
if you install Windows there is the MSI Mystic light software which you can adjust the RAM and other lights on the motherboard. I’m not sure about the status LED lights all over the motherboard and if you can adjust how they act with standby.
smbios imac 18,3 or 19,1 or...
hopefully that efi gets you going! I forgot to add the KASLR fix for calculating the slide value. seems complicated, but isn't really.

Here ya go! I added a little readme with some info in it. you will need to generate new SMBIOS info for your setup as I stripped that information because you don't want to use a serial number that's already in use. I'm curious to see if slide=128 will work for you or not. usually it's a...
if stuff works only sometimes, it sounds like something kext related. You need to use a kext installer if you’re installing kexts to L/E. You could also have your kext injection settings wrong depending on where your kexts are.
If FakeSMC.kext is in the kernel cache and InjectKexts=Detect...
I’m not at my computer right now, but i’ll try to get you my efi tomorrow. What doesnt work exactly? My slide value is potentially different from what will make yours work
Your best options are a 5700XT or radeon vii. Or a pro workstation card i guess too
If your setup has a UHD 630 running as a headless igpu, either card is good. If you don’t/cant get igpu support on your hackintosh, maybe go with the 5700xt Because it has better hardware encoding support for...
Maybe give this a read through:

tldr of the help thing: if you’re using h264/hevc you will benefit more from having an igpu enabled for intel quicksync such as the UHD 630. This will help especially for...
if you do lots of video editing, you really want your motherboard to support running a igpu for compute tasks (intel quicksync) also the 5700xt is the only amd card currently capable of hardware acceleration of h264/hevc above 4k (up to 8k)
