No Internal Display on HD4200 with WEG

Yes you may be right regarding patching. I tried 0x0a16 on Mojave and it didn't work which is what led me to try 0x0412. I am currently injecting the EDID via Clover but it appears as though the system is not picking up. Any ideas why that might be the case? Edit: Turns out that I wasn't...

You don't need to use VoodooI2C modified for Elan1200, that is an ancient version of VoodooI2C and you should upgrade to the lastest version.

Since I have this laptop myself, I thought I would let you guys know: I have just pushed v2.1 of VoodooI2C which replaces our custom multitouch engine with fully fledged native gestures. VoodooI2C Help and Support

No, I meant exactly what I said. The troubleshooting archive as requested on the troubleshooting page: https://voodooi2c.github.io/#Troubleshooting/Troubleshooting It is clearly indicated on the documentation that this is the first port of call when you have an issue with VoodooI2C.

I'm not sure what the issue is with scrolling at the moment. It doesn't appear to be happening for everyone. If you want to stop using VoodooI2C you should uninstall the kext, not use kextunload.

The kexts should go in Clover specifically to avoid situations like this (or use Coolstar's i2c clover patches whose location I do not know of but I am told they exist).
