Thx for your help.
In my case I needed to walk the long way:
Reinstalled Windows, updated BIOS and TB 3 firmware, clean installed Mojave and finally, after everything was back, I cloned my old system from my external backup back to the internal disk.
I don´t know why F11 or any other route i...
Hi,
I wanted to update my 9560 with your files. Everything is fine, except Battery life isn´t that great. But when I try to attach my UAD Apollo Twin & my Satellite Octo both devices can´t connect.
I updated my bios & the Tb3 Firmware, but still no luck...
When I connect the device, or both...
Hi and thanks a lot for you input, it is just one EFI partition, with my clover settings (located on my internal system nvme)
All other EFI partitions are either empty or with the file "EFI/APPLE/EXTENSIONS/Firmware.scap". I still got some soft raids running flawlessly.
Just to mention:
I...
Hi guys I´m pretty desperate and I hope that someone has an idea what happened to my machine yesterday and maybe how can I get my data back.
So that´s what happened (very briefly):
I played around for 2 days with the Catalina dev beta. Then I wanted to go back to Mojave, booted into my...
When the machine boots you see first the bios screen with a dell logo afterwards the clover boot screen appears. My machine was supposed to boot the system automatically after 3 seconds time out, but with 3 seconds my Thunderbolt port was almost never working. After I extend the time out to 6...
I recently installed 13.4 to my 9560. Got everything working besides the HDMI out.
Needed to raise the clover time out to 6 seconds to get my Thunderbolt Port recognised by OSX constantly. With times below I often had it missing.
Does anyone have a clue how to get the HDMI out working?
On my Asus Prime x299 a, BIOS 1301 leaves me with an almost unresponsive System. Boot is Very slow and OSX is extremely slow.
I'm using an iMac Pro SMBIOS.
@apfelnico I tried to replicate your ideas on my machine. ACPI patches are fully implemented using the hotpatch method described by the guide. But even with an additional unedited DSDT my machine doesn´t boot anymore.
It´s actually the first time I´m trying the hotpatching method via clover and...
I just tried it without EmuVariableUefi-64.efi. Machine boots properly to SSD and USB stick. Display brightness is restored as well, no need for EmuVariableUefi-64.efi.
I deleted OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi and installed both EmuVariableUefi or OsxAptioFix.
I can check if´s necessary to use EmuVariableUefi, I´m not sure.
I don´t know why my old installation worked with my old Clover folder, there was OsxAptioFix2Drv-64 implemented and I never had a problem with...
That´s it! Thank you sooooo much!!!
I´ve got the FHD Version of the Laptop, I wrote it to my signature, it´s gone so i guess it was removed because it doesn´t fit the rules :s...
F2 & F4 + verbose photo attached.
I´ve sadly no USB2 stick available, but as far as i remember, that was never a problem on this laptop.
I downloaded macOS via Terminal and created the stick according to the large iMac Pro thread here in the Forum. It was created it on my X299 build.
To...
That´s a good question... I don´t know, i used my old Clover folder and stripped it down more and more, haven´t got into that UEFI driver folder yet. Sadly the problem is always the same whatever I do. Even with the most stripped down setup i ever used the result is the same...
I´m just trying to install 10.13.2 onto my old Y50 70 because my HD crashed. Strange thing is the old setup (already running 13.2) doesn´t work anymore so i came here to read the guide again.
Whatever i do i end up with the same behaviour when I boot into the install stick. Boot stops for a few...
