    I get the same problem with chrome. by using firefox these restarts became minimal/nonexistent. for me, the restart while using chrome usually occured when opening a new tab with youtube

    I've had the same problem with multibeast. I've switched to Clover and the freezes went away. you could give it a try. no need to reinstall anything, simply create a clover USB boot drive, as described here...

    this might be a video driver conflict, I've experienced the same thing when I had Intel graphics Inject enabled. Disabling it fixed my problem, didn't really need it in the first place, since I have a dedicated Geforce.

    Z97 is not about the OC; think about Sata Express and support for latest CPUs. 4790K will not work out of the box with H87. you might need an older CPU in order to flash the latest firmware first and then install the 4790K
