YES... Booting out of BIOS boot menu (without going through clover) is working 100%. No issues with the monitor when doing that way. I can see Grub from Linux and Windows boots fine. I'm almost hoping the "GREAT" @Gigamaxx see this and knows has the answer.
The only thing I can think of doing...
It took a 2-3 days but I figured out that...
In Clover
If I have CsmVideoDxe-64.efi in my drivers64UEFI folder, I can use Clover to:
1) Boot into Windows and Linux without any problems
2) I CAN NOT boot into High Sierra in any way, my screen is corrupt
High Sierra with CsmVideoDxe-64.efi in...
WE GOT SOME SUCCESS!!!
Orinoco plus Inject ATI plus Dual Link=1. I'm fully booted with no crash, both monitors work.
1 PROBLEM.... 2nd non-working monitor, from before, is just a mirror of the 1st. 2nd monitor is not showing up in Display Settings.
Worse comes to worse... I have a Radeon Vega...
@XQC
I have a somewhat similar problem that you had. Maybe you can help?
I have:
Intel Core i7 7700K 4.2 Ghz
Gigabyte GA-Z270MX/Gaming 5
Samsung CF791 Series 34-Inch Curved Widescreen Monitor (C34F791) 3440x1440 4K
Samsung U28E590D 28-Inch UHD LED-Lit Monitor with Freesync support 3840x2160...
Also...
The 2 pictures attached are what happens. Boots with 1 monitor on. As soon as the 2nd monitor is turned on or plugged in... The working monitor goes black and everything stops responding.
I pretty much GAVE UP about 10 minutes and just put the nvidia back in. The Vega is being returned tomorrow and I'm going to pick up the RX580, on my way home from work, and just SwitchResX my hertz on the 2 4Ks I think.
Thank you for helping me with all this!
I actually have BOTH Sierra and High Sierra already installed. Each one is on a seperate partition. I'm sorry I should've explained this better.
2 days ago I had an nvidia card installed and both were working perfectly. High Sierra graphics were just a little choppy. I bought the AMD Radeon...
Thank you for your help. My drive is formatted in HFS.
I just tried the config file you provided and got it to boot fully except... I only receive a portion of the screen in the center (that is all pixelated). I also tried entering recovery and install... Got the same result. I did notice on...
Sierra boots to Desktop and gives me a 1600x1200 resolution and not recognizing the card.
When trying to boot into High Sierra like I used to... I get a pixelated screen like shown in the attachment. I can't even see my desktop. It freezes at that point.
I have a MacBook Pro. Should I attempt...
IF ANYBODY CAN HELP THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!!
